BRETAGNE ATLANTIC YACHTING

Sailing canary islands

The Canary Islands, Subtropical Climate guaranties year round sunshine and nice temperature. In winter, temperature is seldom under 2O°C. The seven main islands of the Canary Islands are well spaced out so that it is only a day's sail between most of them.

This archipelago offers different and very interesting conditions of navigation :

To windward of the islands, wind is generally moderate, between the islands (between Gran Canaria and Tenerife for instance), the wind can be strong or very strong and to leeward of the islands (for instance in the west of Lanzarote), there is no wind or very light wind. The east Islands – Graciosa, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria become nearly no rain and are very dry (no vegetation). The west Islands – La Gomera, La Palma, El Hierro, are not so dry and are partially covered by forests and tropical vegetation.

With Bretagne Atlantic Yachting you will enjoy a real sailing holiday, with a professional Skipper for much less money than the other offers you will find on this fantastic archipelago: one week (7 days) sailing and instruction only costs maximum 560 €.
